Originally designed for and used to sign the 1992 Earth Summit in Rio that laid the groundwork for the fight against Climate Change. Our Ethstat Tree Pen is made in the UK and Europe from certified bio-cornstarch and recycled paper and is 100% biodegradable.
Once you’ve used it, you can plant it and grow a tree, wildflowers or herbs, saving up to one tonne of CO2 for every pen you use.

Our minimum order for branded pens is 500. Orders of 500 – 2999 come with a FREE Ethstat Sleeve.
Yes we can! For all orders over 3000 pens we can absorb production costs and make a FREE Tree Pen Sleeve with your brand.
For orders over 6000, we can Pantone match the colour of the cornstarch outer to your brand at no extra charge.
Our most popular pen is the Scots Pine Tree, native to the UK. Please note that this tree takes time to grow but does grow to be quite large, so please plant responsibly.
We also provide wildflowers, herbs and flowers upon request, depending on order volumes and availability.
Our lead time for smaller orders is between 2-4 weeks, depending on how busy we are in production. For larger orders of 6000 plus pens and bespoke sleeves, please allow a minimum of 4 weeks to allow time for us to hand finish and check each pen.
Just soak the seeds for 24 hours (to help them germinate) and then plant this in a pot or in your garden with the pen. The seeds will feed off the cornstarch and the whole pen will biodegrade.
We recommend keeping these inside during the colder months (and until they have sprouted) of which they then can be moved outside and replanted.
Our gel ink will give you approximately 1500 metres of writing length.
Pricing depends on your logo and amount of screens required to print your design, as well as the quantity you want to order.
